Anti‑Fraud and Scam Advisory
We are aware of various scams in which individuals or entities falsely claim to be associated with the Foundation or with any of our office bearers and founders.
These fraudulent communications via websites, email, postal mail, fax, or telephone often misuse the Foundation’s name, logo, photographs, links, or information taken from official sources. In many cases, they request money or sensitive personal information.
Examples of such fraudulent activity include:
- Falsely requesting donations on behalf of the Foundation.
- Falsely claiming that a grant has been awarded but will be released only after a fee is paid or sensitive personal information is provided.
- Falsely soliciting funds for supposed Foundation‑related projects.
Please note that the Foundation or any of its employees, grantees, or partner organizations do not:
- Approach individuals in person offering grant opportunities.
- Charge administrative, membership, handling, or any other fee for awarding a grant.
- Offer prizes through email, postal mail, telephone, fax, or in person.
- Request registration fees for conferences or summits.
- Solicit investments or donations.
- Request bank account details or other private information.
If you receive any such communication or become aware of such scams especially those sent from unauthorized email IDs or domain names please write to alert@azimpremjifoundation.org. Reporting such attempts helps us take appropriate action. We also advise you not to respond to any unauthorized communication or to anyone falsely claiming to represent the Foundation without verifying its authenticity.
The Foundation assumes no liability for any harm arising from the unlawful or fraudulent misuse of its name.
